Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SkyBro (the "Service"), operated by SkyBro ("SkyBro," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using SkyBro, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Educational Use Only

SkyBro is a study and practice aid intended for educational purposes only. It is not an official source of aviation regulations, is not approved or endorsed by any aviation authority, and is not intended for operational flight use. All information should be verified with your certified flight instructor and official sources before any operational reliance.

2. Description of Service

SkyBro provides study materials, practice tools, and reference content for student pilots, available in Bahasa Indonesia and English. The Service is currently provided free of charge and is in an early ("beta") stage of development. Features, content, and availability may change without notice.

3. Safety Disclaimer

SkyBro is a study and practice aid for educational purposes only. It is not an official source of aviation regulations, not approved by any aviation authority, and not intended for operational flight use.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will not rely on SkyBro as your sole source for any flight operation, examination, or safety-critical decision.
• You will independently verify all information — including regulations, calculations, weather interpretation, and performance figures — against official sources (such as the DGCA, your aircraft's approved Pilot's Operating Handbook, and current official regulations) and with a certified flight instructor.
• Calculations and tools within SkyBro (including formulas, unit conversions, and METAR practice exercises) are provided for study purposes only. They may contain errors, simplifications, or outdated information, and must never be used for actual flight planning or operations.
• SkyBro's content does not replace formal flight training, official study materials, or instruction from a certified flight instructor.

You are solely responsible for how you use any information obtained through the Service.

4. Content Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and to have it reviewed, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Aviation regulations are subject to change, and some content may be pending review or verification at any given time.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes;
• Not misuse, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its underlying systems;
• Not rely on the Service for operational or safety-critical purposes, as described in Section 3.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SkyBro and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial study purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service or its content without our prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service may reference or link to third-party sources, tools, or regulatory materials. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkyBro, its operators, and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service, regardless of the legal theory on which such liability is based.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkyBro, its operators, and its creators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including during this early development stage, without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Indonesia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
